Your files stay in your browser

Every uploaded file — Excel, CSV, KML, Shapefile or GeoJSON — is read, validated and converted entirely on your device. There is no upload endpoint; the geodata is never transmitted to, stored by, or seen by DDSpass or any third party. Closing the tab discards it.

What we do process: your email

To sell a subscription and let you sign back in, we process a single piece of personal data — your email address:

Billing. Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar collects your email and payment details, issues the VAT invoice, and is the controller for that transaction. DDSpass never receives or stores card data.

Sign-in emails. When you request a sign-in link, the email is sent via Resend, our email delivery provider, solely to deliver that link.

We do not sell your data, run advertising trackers, or build a marketing profile.

Cookies

We set one cookie: an httpOnly session cookie issued after purchase or sign-in, so the tool knows your subscription is active. It carries a signed token (your customer id, email and tier) and nothing else. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Analytics (if enabled) run cookieless.

Analytics

We measure traffic with Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless by design) and, when enabled, Google Analytics 4 configured in consent-denied mode: no analytics cookies are stored on your device, no advertising or remarketing features are active, and Google receives only cookieless pings. Events are limited to page views and anonymous product actions (e.g. "file processed") — never file contents, geodata, or anything derived from your files.

Hosting

The site and its serverless functions are hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (IP address, request metadata) may be processed by Vercel to operate and secure the service.

Your rights & retention

You can cancel at any time from the Polar customer portal, and request access to or deletion of your account email by contacting us. Subscription records are retained by Polar as required for tax and accounting.
